Okay- so if you were hoping for a clue about my whereabouts, then this is totally misleading, cos I’m not on a desert island. But I am somewhere sunny! And I have been meaning to do this for sooo long (for the love of god- don’t look at the dates I was tagged to do these if you click on the bloggers that tagged me!)
Thank you so much to the wonderful Novel Glimpse and awesome The Paper Dragon for tagging me to do this way back in that distant, unspecified past!
Water — A book you simply cannot live without
A part of me is thinking “don’t say The Hobbit, don’t say the Hobbit…” which means I totally have to say the Hobbit
Food — A book that is a close second on your favourites list
It’s joint favourite actually
Shelter — A book that makes you feel at home and safe
Easily Capture the Castle (or any Austen or Bronte or any girly classic really- kind of cheated with that one)
Flare Gun — A book you would recommend to someone who doesn’t read
I always go for Picture of Dorian Gray and this time is no different- this book is has everything!
Matchsticks — A book that warms your heart
Isla and the Happily Ever After just gives me all the warm fuzzy feelings!
Compass — A book that directed you towards your love of reading
Okay, I was born in the 90s- could there be any other answer?
And that’s it! Hope you enjoyed this!
I tag:
(Feel free to ignore if you’ve already done this)
And to everyone else- what would be your number one pick for a desert island?
Desert island picks: the Legend trilogy, A Tale of Two Cities, the Jackaby series, Where the Wild Things Are, Bernice Gets Carried Away (picture book), and Grimm’s Fairytales. 🙂

Hahaha no worries, it’s always nice to be considered young- although someone did think I was a high schooler last week, which was… Surreal

I’ve still never read A Picture of Dorian Gray (or for that matter The Hobbit). I really need to pick up more classics 🙂

Gasp! January and February! (yeah, if you say don’t look, it’s like that big red button which says “Don’t press me”. It’s the first thing I’d do![Also, I’m even worse than you; I’ve got one from over a year ago:$]) :’). As for the picks, I’d bring all the books in my bookcase that I haven’t read yet. Does anyone happen to have some massive suitcases I can borrow??

Thanks for the tag! Picture of Dorian Gray is an interesting choice! I’m not done the book yet, but it’s not superficial (interestingly enough) and is great so far. I’m also a 90’s baby, but (sadly) I didn’t get into Harry Potter well into my late teens 😦

You’re welcome! Ahh I’m glad you’re enjoying it 🙂 *high five* 90s babies are the best! 😉 Ahh fair enough- a lot of people were the same- I was lucky enough to have a friend who was an even bigger bookworm than I was!
