Celebrating The Little Things Tag

I have talked about some very heavy topics in the last few days, so I thought I’d do a more upbeat post! Thank you so much to the lovely Rivermoosereads for tagging me to do this one!

Who was your very first follower (if you can find out) tag them and give them a shout out!

My first two followers (apart from my sister) were Sherlockian Book Lover and Zezee!! Both of whom I love and you should definitely check out!

What was the last milestone you reached?

I believe the last badge WordPress gave me was the 200 posts one

200-posts

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us! If you can find out.

I’ve mentioned this a few times, but it was my very ranty review of Captain Corelli’s Mandolin (that book was part of the reason I started this blog- because I desperately needed to vent!)

Who was your most recent follower, tag them and give them a shout out!

Sparkle With UC and By Book Or By Hook– welcome aboard!

What was the last post you posted and who was the very first person who took their time to click the like button? Give them a shout out!

The last thing I posted was “Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s Infidel is One of the Most Important Books I Have Ever Read” (phew- I only just realised how ridiculously long that title was!) And at the time of writing the last person to like this post was Red String Papercuts… and now it’s Bibliophile’s Obsession– these things change fast!

How many months have you been blogging for?

It’s been about one year and four months- although I didn’t start posting till about a year ago- wow how time flies!

Do you have any bloggers your friends with? Give them a shout out.

Gosh where do I start? Jill, Codie, Kat, Marie, Donna, Anne, Rosereads, Alanna, Invisible Moth, Nicole and so, so many more!

If I missed you out then I’m truly sorry! (and if I mentioned you and you don’t consider yourself my friend than I’m even more sorry!)

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

Shamefully I don’t know who created the Freedom to Read Tag… *goes to check*

Just found out it originated on Youtube- everyone’s linked in the description of this video:

Have you any social media related to your blog?

Just Twitter! Check me out if you haven’t already!

My goodreads is not related to my blog. I considered linking the two- but thought this would happen:

Last but not least …. Just give say thanks to all your followers.

***THANK YOU*** Seriously I love all you guys!!! 🙂

And I’m going to follow River Moose Reads lead and tag all of the people who have been given a shoutout during this post!

  1. Thank you! You do make my day! Your support over at my blog has really helped get me through a slow season (literally! my stats were pretty bad this summer!), and are giving me great encouragement as we get ready for NaNo and the next part of all this craziness! 🙂

  3. Aaaaaaaw, nqglkfhsljhf. That’s my reaction to this post. Have a hug, my dear friend ❤ I loooooove chatting with you and I adooooore your blog. And I'm back using way too many vowels, as if there was glue on the keyboard, but it's so handy to express my overwhelming feelings 😀
Love that you're spreading the love (too much love in this comment? Nah, impossible!)

  4. Yaaay! You’re my fwiend as well!! ❤ ❤ Awesome Seinfeld video and you're smart to keep the two worlds separate. Quite a few family members are following my blog and I feel like I have to censor a lot sometimes because of it ;). Sweet tag and I really need to get my arse going with the Freedom to Read tag as well!! 😀

  5. What a fun tag, I’m looking forward to doing this one! And I’m very chuffed to be mentioned 🙂 I certainly consider you a friend too!!
I can’t believe you’ve only been blogging for a year, for some reason it feels like I’ve been reading your blog for longer than that… but then, my sense of time is not the best I must admit 🙂 Also if you have reached 200 posts then it has been a very prolific year!

  6. Awe, I feel so honored! You’re blog is awesome, and it’s super awesome that you remember you’re first followers with the amount you have now – extreme growth. Really cool tag and, again, I hope you feel better soon…for the sake of the blogsphere …you too of course haha 😅
