So I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately- who am 1? What am I? Where am I…? Okay not that last one. I saw this a while ago on Fernanda’s blog and thought I might do it 😀
What is the meaning of my name?
My name, in the ancient apish tongue of Orange, means I am a monkey that loves books 😉
What is my Myer-Briggs personality type? (Link)
Okay so I got the Campaigner personality type
I do think a lot of it was accurate, but then I’ve had different answers in the past and thought they were accurate too- so I suspect these are vague enough that they can be true for most people, a bit like how a fortune teller works (or maybe I’m just saying all this cos I don’t like acknowledging I may have anything in common with Russell Brand- yeesh!- at least I get to be like Will Smith and Robin Williams too)
WHAT IS MY ZODIAC SIGN?
I’m a Libra… apparently that means I’m (un)balanced
WHAT IS MY HOGWARTS HOUSE? (LINK)
I’m a Ravenclaw- blue is just really my colour 😉
WHAT ARE MY LEARNING STYLES? (LINK)
Your scores were:
- Visual 2
- Aural 7
- Read/Write 10
- Kinesthetic 7
This is actually the first time I’ve done one of these tests and I was strangely nervous- but the results made a lot of sense. What’s funny is I’m actually a very visual person (in case it isn’t obvious, I love art and illustration), but I already knew that I don’t learn well through visuals for some reason. Most of the time, I learn through reading or writing things down, but I also like learning by doing things and listening to instructions- so yeah, I think this is a pretty good test!

AM I RIGHT OR LEFT BRAIN DOMINANT? (LINK)
Wahey!
WHAT IS MY BLOOD TYPE?
I’m A Positive person (A+ get it 😉 )
WHAT CAREER AM I MEANT TO HAVE? (LINK)
This test is designed to make me happy!
You have a skill for language, your imagination is vast and you are artistic and creative. Your brain is just overflowing with ideas, and all you have to do is get a piece of paper and share it with the world. You were born to turn words into magical stories.
WHICH DIVERGENT FACTION DO I BELONG IN? (LINK)
I’m divergent!
WHAT DOES MY BIRTH ORDER SAY ABOUT ME? (LINK)
Middle child syndrome right here! 😉
I tag: Liis, Nel, Rivermoose Reads, Sophie, Never Not Reading, Steph, and Rebecca @MyLifeAsASportsFangirl (apologies if you’ve done it already!)
So notice any similarities? Differences? Let me know what you think in the comments!
Thanks for the tag! I’ve never taken the myers-briggs test so I’m real curious about what those results will be. Are our zodiac signs compatible??? I’m a Taurus. I’m gonna spoil it and say yes cause I’m biased 😉

You’re welcome!! It’s a fun test to take 😀 I actually really enjoyed doing all of these 🙂 hehehe I’m gonna go with yes too- cos Libra’s can get on with everyone (I made that up, but it sounds about right- also yes I’m biased 😉 )

You’ll have to explain the divergent stuff to me cause I’ve never had those books or seen the movies.

hehehe it’s like Harry Potter, where they get sorted into groups, just not as good 😉 (aka Erudite=clever ones, Candor=honest, Dauntless=brave, Amity=peaceful, and Abnegation=selfless, Divergent=all/none)

So are you all or none in your divergent class?

Ohh great answers, we’re so similar in some ways! I’m a Libra as well, I’m supposed to be Divergent and a Writer too ahah and I use my brain equally… seems like we’re good :p

Thanks for the tag! I’ve done this one so….lol! 😉 But we are are both Ravenclaws, which is why we think so much alike hahaha!! I’m a visual learner too. I’m an Erudite, but I have no clue what that means since I haven’t read the books or seen the movies hahaha! Here’s the link to mine if you want to compare 😉 https://stephsfictionandfamilylove.wordpress.com/2017/07/18/tag-who-i-am-tag/

I think the same about Myers-Briggs tests (or any personality tests). We tend to latch on to what we think describes us and we ignore the rest, so it always seems true! What I do like about the Myers-Briggs test is that it at least gives you percentages. For instance, I usually end up INTJ (and did when I took an officially-administered test, for what that’s worth) but sometimes I end up INFJ. This makes sense to me because I’m probably not 90% F or T but maybe closer to 50/50. So depending on the questions asked that day or my mood or when I had lunch, I could lean either way. And, really, when I read INTJ or INFJ descriptions, both seem to fit me–probably because I’m just pickin out the bits I think suit me!
Also, hurray for Ravenclaw!
I will admit, though, that I’m sad this test includes the types of learner question because I’m pretty sure that’s been debunked. So I don’t really get why teachers keep using it like it has scientific basis. Some of my teachers tested us and I remember being annoyed at the time because I really learn best through hearing and seeing it, then reading it, then doing it. But the test told my teacher I had a slight visual edge (really all the bars were roughly even) and I was stuck for the rest of the year making posters of everything. Even though making posters did not remotely help me learn. If I had to do just one thing, I would just read the content. Though obviously it’s best to go from there and USE the concept. I felt like the test was making my teachers work against me and have me learn less effectively since they were actually limiting how we could learn.
Though obviously this test is just for fun so I shall save any more bitterness for any chance encounters with old teachers. 😉

Yes- that’s very true. To be honest, I notice a couple of fluctuations in mine that can change on any given day, which can throw the whole thing out of whack- cos I’m more of an ambivert (than either extrovert or introvert- I’ve done so many tests and it always comes out different) and my Intuition/Judging can change. So I’m exactly the same as you there. And I do agree that we just pick out what suits us best. But I’m a bit sceptical about it anyway (which probably makes me biased) since I’ve heard a fair number of psychologists complain about its unscientific nature and origin.
Yes- yay Ravenclaw!!
Ah well that’s a shame. Personally, I don’t think it matters much, but I did notice a trend I had in an app I’ve been using to learn languages- that would definitely suggest I don’t learn well through visuals, but do learn through reading/writing/listening (which makes sense, since this was always my preferred method for revision). Haha oh dear! I don’t think people should be using it to decide how others learn! Rather, I find the app I use (duolingo) helpful because it implements all of the different learning strategies, so the vocab will go in one way or another. But that’s just my experience of this idea being implemented. I think it’s a bit like when I was in school, I had a teacher that liked to change things up and try lots of different things, so we’d learn in different ways (personally I think that does help, just to stave off boredom). Like I said, I think we’re better at identifying our own learning methods (my sister for instance, always found a way to create visuals, cos she naturally gravitates towards that), rather than having someone pigeon hole us and actually inhibit our learning. I mean, like I said, I’m naturally very into art, but making posters wouldn’t work for me either- so I can see how it would be easy to muddle this up. Best leave people to their own devices! Hahaha I can relate though!

Yeah, I don’t know about the science behind the Myers-Briggs tests. I just know that they are fun to take!
Ah! I love Duolingo! I’ve been teaching myself Italian! I think it works so well because it does have that repetition–you see it, hear it, and do it. So you’re getting it from all angles!
Unlike you, I am not into or particularly good at art, so making posters was a trial. 😉

hehe well apart from hearing some psychologists being disparaging about it, I also watched this lately…
make of it what you will 😉
Ahh awesome!! Yes definitely agree!! 😀
haha totally get that- to be honest I think it engages a completely different part of my brain though, so can’t imagine learning anything academic from it lol

Hello! Love your answers 🙂
I am always a bit surprised to see book bloggers being extroverts! Because I (wrongly) associate reading with liking quiet time, with being introverts. My Myer-Briggs type is INFJ.
This sounds like a super fun tag which I might do in the future 🙂 (I love personality quizzes!)

Hi! Thanks so much!! 😀
hehe I get that- I personally think I’m more of an ambivert, which is one of the reasons why I’ve got different answers for the Myers Briggs test before 😉
Ahh yes do it!! It’s a lot of fun!! 😀

Haha that makes sense. ambivert is the best of both worlds! my Myers Briggs test score is always the same- I think it’s because I lean more towards one side for all of the traits 🙂

Russell Brand is indeed kind of a shitty person to relate to but, you know, there are worse things xD And I think I’m the same: I love visuals and all but I mostly get things in my head through writing them down. Usually my brain will be like “oh no, I don’t need to write this down! I’ll remember it just fine…” but I’ll be like SHUT UP BRAIN YOU KNOW NOTHING AND YOU WILL FAIL!
Almost all bloggers get the Writer career, which is the biggest conspiracy of all times XD I’m still expecting to see someone come up with Engineer or something, just to spice things up. (Just kidding, I love that we’re all writers, it just makes sense!)
Thank you so much for tagging me for this, I can’t wait to do it ❤ ❤
