Fabulous February Book Haul!

Well, it’s been a while since I’ve shared any book hauls (outside of twitter). And since I know we all like a casual bit of book porn (I’m not insinuating we’re all book pervs or anything 😉), I thought that’s what I’d do today!

I’d also like to say a MASSIVE THANK YOU to the marvellous Mim Inkling, who hosted a bookish bingo back in January for Amazon vouchers, which I won… I hope you’ll agree I put my winnings to good use 😉 Mim’s absolutely lovely and runs such a fun book blog with really entertaining posts- I highly recommend you check her out!

orangutan thank you

Kindle book haul:

I don’t generally share my kindle hauls (I have too much shame generally speaking) but cos I hauled book series this month, I thought it’d be great to show some of those off (and give you some idea of my reading plans for the next few months 😉 )

Both of these authors are brilliant- I’ve enjoyed all the other books I’ve read by them, so I’ve no doubt I’m gonna love these! I’ve also got some hella exciting ARCs lined up:

Physical Book Haul:

And here’s a totally random selection of physical books…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I’ve read two of these (well technically Of Mice and Men was a reread)- so I can say for certain I made some good choices 😉 Plus, I’m looking forward to finally getting to the Remnants Chronicles (goodness knows how far behind the trend- I’m super with it 😉 ). And then, I also snapped up this beauty cos- well, I couldn’t resist!!

king of scars

Finally, the pièce de résistance, I received this bad boy from the author!!! Guys- it’s Holy Sister!!! (glory, glory, hallelujah!) If you listen really carefully, you can still hear me squealing! I’ve started it already and it’s wonderful!

Alrighty then- it seems like even if I make a dent in my physical TBR, it never really changes size- see if you can spot the difference:

And that’s about as close to a TBR as you’re gonna get from me 😉 What awesome books have you hauled recently? Fess up!

  1. Gasps! You recieved a book from Leigh Bardugo?! Jealous doesn’t even describe it right now! And thank you for the shout out! I’m so glad you won the vouchers – you’ve certainly put them to great use!

  2. Oh this is an incredible haul. 🙂 I really hope you enjoy The Heroes of Olympus series, I’ve loved all of Rick Riordan’s books and I still have a couple of his series I need to get through but I know I’ll love them too, and King of Scars which is a great addition to the Grishaverse world.
I’ll be looking forwards to seeing what you think of The Princess and the Fangirl too, I really enjoyed Geekerella so I can’t wait to get my hands on the sequel.
Great post, and happy reading. This haul seems like it will keep you busy for a while! 😀 ❤

  3. Love it! Most of my recent hauls have been library hauls, but I did just place a Book Depository order AND there’s a huge book sale this weekend which I might check out so…

All the books look amazing – I remember I loved the first few Percy Jackson series, but forgot to continue after a while (gaps between books are not good for me hahaha). I should go pick them up again!

    1. Thank you!! Totally relate! A lot of my hauls are usually from the library. hehe I understand 😉

I’m very excited for them! I get that- it took me a while to finish the first percy Jackson series- but I ended up having so much fun with it that I definitely want to continue 🙂

  4. I have yet to read a Rick Riordan book, but I really want to change that this year. I’m a huge MG fantasy fan, so I know I’ll get sucked in and want to read ALL the books lol

I’ve read the first book in Cinda Williams Chima’s Seven Realms series and really enjoyed it! I definitely want to continue on, but again have been putting it off. I am going to make it a priority in September for “Series September” if I haven’t read it before.

  5. Hehehe! Love the “changes” in your physical tbr. 😉
I feel very much neglected by my local library these days as I never come back with new books for me to get lost in (it’s really time that they buy new books – and pronto! 😂). So instead I turn to all the books I own myself and haven’t read yet which is quite nice for a change because I don’t have to worry about returning them in time! 😂

  6. Of Mice and Men is one of my favorites! I mean, that ending…oy. 😳

Btw, terrific haul! Congrats on getting that Holy Sister from the author as well; that must be a fabulous feeling, to have it sent personally to you. ❤ Enjoy it!
